Fake Rolex prices: the rise in prices arrives in 2022

We knew it was going to happen. It had been talked about for a while and after all it is the natural consequence of a period that has been putting many sectors in difficulty for a long time. Finally, the effects of the pandemic also reached the watch market, with the consequent increase in list prices. This is why if we write today – at the beginning of 2022 – “Rolex prices” on Google we will have a not so pleasant surprise: most Fake Rolex models see an increase on list prices ranging from 2.5 to 12% more than the last year.

News not to be taken lightly.

The reasons are the same as those that have affected other large sectors, but we will see them later. Let’s first look at the new Rolex prices we will have to face in this 2022.

Oyster Perpetual: from € 5,600 to € 5,850

A decent + 4.4% more than in 2021, which does not weigh that much thanks to the price range to which the model belongs.

Explorer: the biggest price increase

In a completely unexpected way, this collection was the one that saw the most significant increase of all – even if “muffled” by the low price.

Fake Rolex
  • Explorer I: from € 6,100 to € 6,850 for the Ref. 124270, with an increase of a significant + 12.2%. Slightly lower for the Ref. 124273, which registers a + 3.5% going from 10,350 to 10,700 €.
  • Explorer II: a nice + 11% here too, with a base price that spikes from 8,100 to € 9,050 without batting an eye.

The reasons behind the increase in the Rolex cost: the domino effect of the pandemic

Now that we have seen what we are dealing with, let’s go back to the speech left pending at the beginning of the article.

Why is there such an important increase in Fake Rolex prices?

As already mentioned, watchmaking is not the only sector that has undergone this change. All are victims of the same cause: the concatenation of critical issues along the entire production chain.

  1. Closure of non-essential activities in an early phase of a pandemic
To prevent infections from skyrocketing, many governments have imposed the closure of all those activities that were deemed unnecessary.

In this way, we tried to limit the contact between suppliers and customers, between operators and managers and so on.

  1. Failure to stop the application
The fact that companies stopped producing non-essential goods did not stop people from continuing in their demand for products.

Indeed, several studies show how – thanks to the forced daily routine – orders for non-essential products have increased in the pandemic.

This meant that people continued to order and companies to sell, relying solely on the stock they had in stock.

  1. Exhaustion of stocks and bottling of orders
Out of stock, companies found themselves having to reorder raw materials to continue producing what customers required.

Many, aware of the situation, have ordered excessive quantities of materials to be able to fill their warehouses before the others, which has led to several consequences:

the manufacturing companies could not keep up with the orders, with an overlapping of orders impossible to manage within the required time frame
many found themselves unable to request materials, which were already out of stock because they had been ordered in advance by others in a massive way
delivery routes, already limited due to the Covid emergency, were unable to meet demand – thanks to a reduced workforce due to layoffs of various kinds.

  1. Price increase
Among the materials that have met this domino effect of demand-scarcity is steel, one of the most important materials for the production of watches.

And, in the law of the market, scarcity means value: if you want something that is difficult to find, you have to pay more for it.

This explains the reason for such important increases on the Rolex price list, which certainly do not go unnoticed on already substantial price ranges.
